Join us this first full weekend of pre-season pro football for a tasting that is sure to score a touchdown with your tastebuds. To kick off the evening, we’ll be hosting the fantastic local TORN LABEL BREWING CO. from the Crossroads Arts District who’ll be bringing these great beers for you to taste:

31 HEROES – a delicious wheat IPA made to commemorate the tragic event that cost the lives of Navy SEALS in Afghanistan with a portion of the proceeds going to The Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

HOUSE BREW – a robust wheat stout brewed with over 50% malted wheat and a touch of oats for a silky smooth mouth-feel. Roasted wheat and chocolate malt give this beer a nice roasty profile that pairs nicely with the earthy tones of Sumatran coffee

MONK & HONEY – Brewed with barley, Belgian yeast, and local honey this beer is simple yet complex. A light floral quality and hint of sweetness remain from the honey nicely complementing the simple grain bill and earthy/spicy Belgian yeast.

ALPHA PALE ALE – Packed full of juicy pacific northwest hops this is the perfect session beer for hopheads.

For the vodkas, we’re bringing back two favorites:

BOMBORA VODKA – distilled 7 times from premium Australian grapes, it utilizes Australian water to create one of the smoothest, cleanest and freshest  gluten-free vodkas in its price-point on the market today.

COORANBONG VODKA – created using pure Australian water and a combination of premium Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. These quality ingredients are distilled 10 times to create one of the smoothest, purest and most refreshing Gluten-free, bite-free vodka with  an almost spring water-like finish in the mouth.

And for the wines, our sterling rep from Pinnacle will be bringing these for you to sample:

ORNELLAIA LE VOLTE – earning a score of 92 points from James Suckling, this outstanding medium-bodied Italian wine made from 67% Merlot, 13% Sangiovese, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon  offers jammy black cherry and blackberry fruits, hints of licorice, graphite, and dried earth, medium body, ripe, polished tannin, and a great clean finish.

RIO MADRE ROSE – lively, with balanced acidity and a smooth minerality on the tongue, this wine(made from Rioja, Spain’s indigenous Graciano grape)  delivers plum and citrus flavors prior to a dry and long finish that’s pithy and offers notes of ripe pink grapefruit.

TRUE GRIT CABERNET SAUVIGNON – earning a score of 90 points from Wine.com, this complex wine offers rich flavors of dark carob and cassis, with a meaty cherry and vanilla finish framed by a substantial yet velvety bed of tannins.

DOMAINE DELAUNAY “TYDY” SAUVIGNON BLANC –  from the Loire region of France, this wine marries grapefruit, gooseberry, pear, fresh lime and a subtle touch of tropical fruit on the palate with crisp acidity and a finish of light minerality.

PARDUCCI PINOT NOIR — a small lot blend  sourced from distinct vineyard parcels in and around Mendocino County. The flavor contains a mix of rich fruit – dark cherry, strawberry, raspberry – along with a light loamy, earthy taste. Their Pinot Noir won the Best of Class Mendocino Wine Competition.
