Join us this pre-St. Patrick’s Day Friday evening as lay out a selection of adult beverages to prime you for the weekend. We’ll tip off our line-up with COOP ALE WORKS out of Oklahoma City bringing these beers for you to taste:

ALPHA HIVE DOUBLE IPA – earning a 97 points score on RateBeer,  the fierce American hop profile, infused with a delicate, bee-crafted orange blossom honey from Northern California, offers a sting of dankness, floral notes and many a compelling nuance to make this spring seasonal delicious.

F5 IPA – earning a 96 points score on RateBeer, the straightforward malt body of this IPA supports the distinctive bouquet of Columbus and Falconers Flight hops that impart citrus, grapefruit and pine notes characteristic of the West Coast style.

SATURDAY SIREN –  a light-bodied, crisp and refreshing pilsner that’s dry-hopped with Idaho 007 and Comet hops to bring new world flavor to this old world style, giving it a little of the earthy and fruity flavors with a clean finish.

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, our wonderful Major Brands rep will be bringing this fantastic line-up from JAMESON DISTILLERY, the most famous of Irish Whiskey makers, for you to try:

JAMESON IRISH WHISKEY – no description needed, it’s a classic.

JAMESON CASKMATES – Jameson Irish whiskey finished in casks of Franciscan Well, an Irish microbrew stout, giving it an initial sweet mouth coating typical of the Irish pot still inclusion that’s quickly complemented by the subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans from the beer cask finish.
JAMESON CASKMATES IPA –  Jameson Irish whiskey finished in craft Irish Pale Ale-seasoned barrels, giving it additional flavors of hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones that give way to grains of barley and a signature smooth finish..

JAMESON COOPER’S CROZE – an Irish Whiskey that celebrates the craft of our Head Cooper, Ger Buckley. It honours his mastery at selecting, repairing and maintaining the treasured casks at our Midleton distillery.  It starts off with the sweet vanilla of the American ex-bourbon barrels, giving it added depth to the rich fruits typical of the ex-oloroso sherry butts. A pleasant touch of hazelnut and toasted wood complement the pot still spices on the finish.

KERRYGOLD IRISH CREAM – Winner of the 2016 World Drink Awards “World’s Best Cream Liqueur Award”. This delicious liqueur blends natural Irish cream, which comes from Irish grass-fed cows, with aged Irish whiskey and chocolate liqueur.

And for the wines, our excellent rep from A. Bommarito will be bringing these for you to try:

A TO Z BUBBLES ROSE –  this brand new offering from A To Z is a delicious sparkling wine made from pinot noir grapes. Light, easy-drinking, with flavors of strawberry and other red ripe fruit, it finishes with a perfectly-balanced minerality that makes it ideal for Summer drinking and fun.

FORIS PINOT GRIS – with a score of 89 points from Wine Spectator, this Oregonian wine finished in stainless steel tanks is tangy and mouthwatering, smooth and rich with a lingering minerality and “an appealing vitality to the green melon, ripe pear and delicately floral flavors, lingering on the focused finish.”

CASTLE ROCK RED CUVEE – this blend  of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Pinot Noir and 10% Syrah is an elegant and full-bodied wine offering flavors of blackberries, red currant and spices along with lightly toasted oak that’s framed with well-balanced tannins and acidity. It ends with a long smooth finish.

CASTLE ROCK CHARDONNAY – an elegant wine that offers  a rich, ripe and fruity character with a delicious blending of vanilla, pear, citrus and melon flavors, with subtle oak undertones and a long, balanced finish. Given a Best Value nomination in Wine Spectator’s Advance Buying Guide for its 3/31/18 issue.

COLTIBUONO CHIANTI CETAMURA – earning a score of 90 points from James Suckling. this Italian red offers intense bright ruby red, cherry and blackberry notes with cinnamon and clove nuances. Full and well-balanced, soft but tasty, with good structure it has a pleasant acidity and a clean and persistent aftertaste that pairs well with Italian foods.
