Join us this last Friday evening before the end of March Madness and beginning of Royals season as we host some delicious adult beverages for your sampling pleasure. We’ll tip off with a newcomer to the Kansas City area, BROOKLYN BREWERY, who’ll be bringing these fines beers for you to try:

BEL AIR SOUR – this easy-drinking sour wheat ale dry-hopped with Simcoe and Amarillo hops starts off with bright notes of tropical fruit and then finishes crisp and gently tart. Perfect for Springtime weather.

LAGER – this “Vienna” style recipe displays a firm malt center supported by a refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma with a caramel malt finish. Enhanced by “dry-hopping” with an array of American and German hops, the result is a wonderfully flavorful beer that’s smooth and refreshing.

DEFENDER IPA – this golden IPA made with Amarillo, Simcoe, Cascade and Centennial hops features strong notes of tropical fruit, well-muscled hop bitterness, and an incredibly dry finish.

For the liquor, we’ll be tasting all the spirits available from our local TOM’S TOWN DISTILLERY (located over on Main St.). This a great opportunity for you to sample these premium liquors:

PENDERGAST’S ROYAL GOLD BOURBON – this 90 Proof Bourbon offers a rich warmth with a smooth and well-balanced flavor, finished in hand-selected 14-year-old port casks.

McELROY’S CORRUPTION GIN – this 90 Proof favorite  is a complex, spicy and botanical New Western style gin.

ELI’S STRONGARM VODKA – one of the best out there, this is a pure, smooth and imposing vodka, distilled 16 times.

And for the wines, our sterling rep from Appellations will be bringing these fine wines for you to try:

TUCK BECKSTOFFER “HOGWASH” ROSE – this St. Helena wine made from Grenache grapes offers a striking minerality that mingles perfectly with flavors of lemon, mandarin, honey and just ripened peach that lightly touch the mouth then recede into a clean and precise finish.

GOTHIC “NEVERMORE” PINOT NOIR – earning a score of 90 points from Wine Spectator, this Willamette Valley wine is firm and sleek, with velvety tannins surrounding a taut core of cherry, red plum, floral and spice flavors that linger effortlessly until the focused finish.

TISHBI EMERALD RIESLING – perfect for the holidays, this semi-dry kosher white wine made from Emerald Riesling grapes offers a unique taste profile featuring citrus notes of ripe melon and nectarines with a refreshing floral finish. Ideal for drinking with meals.
