Join us this Friday evening for a pre-Halloween tasting featuring a fun line-up of festive adult beverages. To kick off the evening, we’ll be hosting the fantastic local TORN LABEL BREWING CO. from the Crossroads Arts District who’ll be bringing these great beers for you to taste:

HOUSE BREW – a robust wheat stout brewed with over 50% malted wheat and a touch of oats for a silky smooth mouth-feel. Roasted wheat and chocolate malt give this beer a nice roasty profile that pairs nicely with the earthy tones of Sumatran coffee

MONK & HONEY – Brewed with barley, Belgian yeast, and local honey this beer is simple yet complex. A light floral quality and hint of sweetness remain from the honey nicely complementing the simple grain bill and earthy/spicy Belgian yeast.

ALPHA PALE ALE – Packed full of juicy pacific northwest hops this is the perfect session beer for hopheads.

LUMBER LUNG – its deep chestnut hue accurately represents the immediate taste of woodsy caramel, coffee & cream, and black bread that rush to the tip of the tongue upon first sip, but subsequent notes of roasted chestnut and Speyside Scotch complement an unexpectedly intense range of flavors.

For the liquors, our rep from McCORMICK/360 VODKAS will be mixing a Halloween cocktail for you to sample called THE GOBLIN, made with lemonade and:

360 MANDARIN ORANGE VODKA – The mandarin is the most noble of oranges, once highly prized and strictly reserved for Chinese royalty. Sweet and juicy, this treasured fruit gives 360 Mandarin Orange a refreshingly light and crisp taste with a hint of natural zest.

KEKE KEY LIME PIE CREAM LIQUEUR – This unique cream liqueur tastes just like a key lime pie, right down to the hint of graham cracker in the finish.

And for the wines, our excellent rep from Terra Firma will be bringing these for you to try:

RUBY RED SPARKLING ROSE – this wonderfully refreshing French rose is a blend of 80% Cotes du Provence Sparkling Rose with ruby red grapefruit juice.  Say “au revoir” to mimosas for brunch, because this sparkling wonder will take care of all citrus cravings.

VINA ROBLES CABERNET SAUVIGNON – 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, this full-bodied wine is smooth and juicy with balanced flavors of plum, cassis and  dark cherry fruit with sweet, rich and long tannins lingering into the finish.

VINA ROBLES RED – earning an 89 score from Wine.com, this blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre is medium-bodied and full-flavored, offering sweet cherry fruit; chewy tannins and hints of cocoa on the finish.

PAPARUDA ESTATE PINOT GRIGIO – from the section of Romania that’s been producing wine since the 15th Century, this stainless steel tank fermented wine’s flavors are packed full of fresh juicy lemon and lime citrus and the green fruits of apple flesh and pear, well balanced with medium acidity, and finishing with lighter fragrant flavors of peach and grapefruit.

VINA ROBLES PETITE SIRAHAged for 20 months in French oak, this wine offers flavors of deep dark fruit, fleshy cassis and blueberry, creamy chocolate that picks up nuances of  licorice and smoke, and finishes on a note of blackberry compote, with supple, harmonious tannins.
