Join us this Friday evening as we sample some old favorites and some new ones that we hope will become favorites with you. We’ll start off the tasting with a selection of beers from NEW BELGIUM BREWING CO. that includes:

VOODOO RANGER IPA – Bursting with tropical aromas and juicy fruit flavors from Mosaic and Amarillo hops, this golden IPA is perfectly bitter with a refreshing, sublime finish.

VOODOO RANGER IMPERIAL IPA – This 9% ABV beer features a rare blend of choice hops that create an explosion of fresh-cut pine and citrus flavors for a complex, rich and delicious flavor.

WHIZBANG – A complex hoppy blonde ale bursting with Mosaic hops and a malty backbone for a full-flavored taste explosion.

Along with the beers,  we’ll be hosting SMITHWORKS VODKA again after doing so well with their tastings before. Made with corn from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma and water from Lake Fort Smith.

Distilled three times and charcoal filtered for a smooth taste and clean finish,  Smithworks is finished and bottled with pride in Fort Smith, Arkansas. And yes, this is the vodka company that country music superstar Blake Shelton is part owner of.

Also, we’ll be hosting SOMERSET RIDGE WINERY, a family-owned vineyard and winery located in the rolling hills of Miami County, KS, approx 20 miles south of the greater KC area. Enjoy trying their —

CHARDONEL: like its parent grape, Chardonnay, this extremely popular dry white has a crisp finish of pears and green apple.
