COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION:

This beer is a collaboration with our neighbors and good friends Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters. The base beer is a robust wheat stout brewed with over 50% malted wheat and a touch of oats for a silky smooth mouth-feel. Roasted wheat and chocolate malt give this beer a nice roasty profile that pairs nicely with the earthy tones of Sumatran coffee. A full body and low bitterness make this a delicious easy drinking stout that will please beer and coffee fans alike.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Pours a dark brown, almost black, with khaki head. Very good head retention.

Aroma: Coffee and Roasted Malts.

Taste: Coffee over/undertones, roasted malt, a bit of dark chocolate. No noticeable bitterness from the coffee. Quite refreshing.

Mouthfeel: Subtle carbonation, smooth, and silky.

Overall: An easy drinking stout packed with flavor.
