COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Pours a lemon yellow with large white foamy head. Very hazy/cloudy.
Aroma: Sliced orange, apples, clove, with hints of banana, vanilla and marshmallow cream. Yeasty funk as well.
Taste: Sweet doughy character with a fresh crackery malt flavor. Banana notes quite evident, liquid banana bread. Some spicy hop flavor in there as well.
Mouthfeel: Carbonated nicely, creamy, with a semi dry finish.
Overall: A nice example of the style.
