To celebrate Spring, this Friday we’ll have something for everyone to sample: Whiskey, wine and beer! Let’s start with the whiskeys from JOURNEYMAN DISTILLERY:

jd silver-cross

SILVER CROSS: Equal parts Rye, Wheat, Corn, and Barley the Silver Cross is truly a medley of unique flavors. Aged in small casks the Silver Cross has an incredible mouth feel and body. They blend the sweet luscious caramel essence of corn whiskey to satisfy the bourbon fans, the spicy red fruit and pepper of the rye, the rich malty earth notes of the barley for the scotch aficionados, with the silky smooth finish of the wheat whiskey.

BUGGY WHIP WHEAT ORGANIC WHISKEY:  a 90 proof whiskey made from 100% Michigan wheat. It’s as soft and sweet as a Michigan autumn day and fills the palate full of caramel and vanilla. It’s a single smooth note with a lasting finish.

For the beer:

santa feSANTA FE BREWING C0. Producers of the wonderful —

Happy Camper IPA – Full-bodied maltiness combined with a spicy, citric, and floral hop character, make this IPA one of our most popular beers.

Java Stout – using only top-quality ingredients like organic East Timor and New Guinea coffee beans locally roasted by O’hori’s Coffee House, its heavenly flavor and aroma can’t be beat or imitated.

Black Rye IPA – The secret is Midnight Wheat. Aromas of passion fruit, citrus, and pine cut their way through the dark malts to both titillate and challenge the senses, making for a smooth and approachable beer

Santa Fe Gold American Pale Ale – Crisp and refreshing, the perfect gateway beer at 4% abv.

odisea dreamAnd for the wines:

Odisea, Dream Clements Hills Albariño – mouth-watering acidity balances out the naturally juicy, flowery fruitiness of the grape, dripping with peach pit and Mandarin orange sensations.

Château La Petite Borie Bordeaux – A French red with Earth, cherry and spice on the nose. Cherries and pepper on the palate. Strong tannins which are a bit coarse.

La Ferme De Gicon Rose – from the Cotes du Rhone in France, this rose has a well balanced style of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah grapes to entrance the palate.
