Join us this Friday evening as we offer some beverages for tasting that are designed to help you transition into the colder weather. We’ll kick off with another favorite brewery from St Louis, SCHLAFLY BEER, who’s bringing all the entries in the Stout Bout for you to try:

VANILLA MILK STOUT – aged on real vanilla beans, is sublimely smooth and rich, with a balanced sweetness that’s lightly hoppy and mildly bitter.

TOASTED COCONUT STOUT – captures the tastes and scent of toasted coconut, adding a subtle sweetness to a robust stout through the addition of coconut chunks.

titos-vodkaMEXICAN CHOCOLATE STOUT – brimming with chocolate and cinnamon flavors. The distinctive characters of Mexican Hot Chocolate are the base of this decadent stout.

COFFEE STOUT – showcases a 20-year partnership with local St. Louis roaster, Kaldi’s Coffee, combining traditional English stout with premium French roast coffee for award- winning flavor.

For the liquor, we’ll be bringing back —

TITO’s AMERICAN VODKA – Famed Austin, TX distiller of fine vodka will be here to let you taste Tito’s straight or in a refreshing Moscow Mule.

For the wines, our brilliant rep from Pinnacle will be bringing these four for you to sample:

TRITON TINTA DE TORO – With a 94 score from  Robert Parker,  this elegant wine created from old vines of Tempranillo has a distinctive balance of ripe red fruit flavors and a delicate spiciness. triton-tinta-de-toroA hint of dark chocolate completes the long finish.

WINES OF SUBSTANCE CABERNET SAUVIGNON – Sporting a 92 score from  Robert Parker, this unfiltered, unrefined, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is opaque, deep and rich with black plum and blackberry fruit intermixed with ample licorice, toasted bread and violet aromas and flavors.

MARIETTA OLD VINE RED LOT 64 – With a score of 89 points from Robert Parker, this blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah and mixed Italian blacks shows plenty of peppery, meaty, sightly herbal red and black fruits, medium body, loads of fruit and soft tannins in an exuberant, rather spicy, earthy personality.

SECCO ITALIAN BUBBLES MOSCATO – Light, sweet, fizzy and delicious, this wine offers flavors of white peach, lychee and jasmine on the palate.

Union-Horse-whiskeyFrom 4-7 pm on Saturday, we’ll be hosting UNION HORSE DISTILLERY (formerly DARK HORSE) who will be bringing their excellent BOURBON and RYE WHISKEY and their BARREL STRENGTH RYE for you to sample.

If you haven’t tried these, don’t miss this opportunity! The distillery has won 36 spirits awards medals, including 11 gold medals, since 2012. In addition to the name change, the company is also now using 5-year barrel-aged stock that makes their whiskeys even smoother than before.
