To celebrate the early Spring we’re having, this Friday we’ll have something for everyone to sample: Bourbon, beer and food treats.
Bourbon & Butter’s BEER CHEESE & their to-die-for 24 KARAT BOURBON BALLS: a bourbon truffle with a pecan mash, double dipped in Belgian dark chocolate, topped with a bourbon infused pecan, and hand painted with 24 karat gold.
WICKET & PEG BOURBON: smooth, vanilla forward and slightly citrus tasting. It’s totally sippable, or great for cocktails. Handcrafted by Coulter & Payne in Union, Missouri, their traditional farm distillery approach utilizes locally sourced water and non-GMO corn grown without herbicides.
And for the beer, we’ll be tasting selections from NEW BELGIUM BREWING, featuring especially:
HOPPY BLONDE ALE – light and refreshing with a soft malt base, while vibrant notes of mango, lemon, blueberry and pine spring across the tongue courtesy of Mosaic, UK Admiral and Centennial dry-hopping.
CITRADELIC TANGERINE IPA – a marriage of Citra hops and tangerine peel, which elevates each sip onto a plane of pure tropical, fruity pleasure. Citradelic’s namesake hop and fruit combine with additional hops like citrusy Mandarina Bavaria, tropical Azzaca, and fruity Galaxy for a colorful explosion grounded by just a touch of malty sweetness.
