Join us this Friday evening as we feature a fantastic selection of adult beverages you’ll want to drink all Summer long. We’ll be kicking off the proceedings with hometown favorite BOULEVARD BREWING as they taste out these great warm weather brews:
WHEAT BEER – their lively, refreshing ale with a natural citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. This easy drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest.
GINGER LEMON RADLER – a zesty, refreshing take on the tradition of mixing beer with soda or lemonade to create a light, thirst-quenching beverage ideal for warm weather.
TROPICAL PALE ALE – their well-balanced pale ale with the bright refreshing flavors of grapefruit and passion fruit accented by juicy, citrusy hops.
AMERICAN KOLSCH – featuring a base composed of European pilsner malt, pale malt and a touch of malted wheat showcasing herbal, citrusy notes from Saaz and Saphir hops, this light and refreshing beer delivers a honey-like malt sweetness that gives way to a crisp, clean finish with a touch of lingering herbal/citrusy flavor.
HEAVY LIFTING IPA – a big, bold hop presence in fine style, exploding with flavor and a huge helping of five remarkably zesty and piney hops (Centennial, Citra, Amarillo, Topaz and Cascade).
For the liquor, our outstanding rep from Major Brands will be bringing the line-up from WESTERN SON VODKA out of Pier Point, Texas:
TEXAS VODKA – Crafted from 100% American yellow corn, Western Son Vodka is column distilled in small batches, resulting in an extremely well balanced and smooth vodka.
WATERMELON – fresh and inviting vodka with a semi-sweet, sorbet light and smooth taste. Enjoy it by add club soda, or on the rocks.
BLUEBERRY – juicy, ripe blackberry and raspberry aroma with a sweet and fresh blueberry cobbler taste.
PRICKLY PEAR – has a freshly picked cactus fruit and melon scent with a long refreshing semi-sweet and tart finish with wild strawberry. Kiwi and ripe melon finish.
CUCUMBER – a deliciously fresh and cool taste with compliments of light melon.
YUZU – has a tart and crisp citrus flavor derived from the yuzu fruit popular all throughout Asian countries.
And for the wines, our great rep from Italian Vine will be presenting this selection for you to sample:
FORTH FAMILY DRY ROSE – this bright rose is a perfect warm weather wine, offering flavors of fresh, wild strawberries and cream, with a nice, flinty minerality and refreshingly crisp acidity.
BODEGAS LANGA Pi RED – offering flavors of dark berries and hints of chocolate, this full-bodied and velvety smooth wine is made from Concejon grapes, which is a clone of Tempranillo, from vines that are 80 years old. It was then matured in French oak for a year.
CLAUDE VAL BLANC – a delicious French white wine made from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Chenin Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc grapes offers light tropical citrus flavors mixed with a hint of floral notes and a smooth minerality. Winner of the Silver Medal at
VISPIUS RED WINE – made from Garnacha and Tempranillo, this wine from Aragon (in northern Spain) is bold in flavor, but silky in its mouthfeel, brimming over with elegant black and red berry taste with just the right touch of tannin dryness on the finish.
***AND, as an additional treat, the fine makers of Kansas City’s CRAFT BEER JERKY will be here to let you sample their delectable Angus beef jerky. Danny Keuser, an employee at Cinder Block Brewery, and Chase Schaffter of Back Rack BBQ and Catering, both love craft beer and especially jerky. After kicking around ideas for developing a food product, the idea of making beef jerky using local craft beer as an ingredient seemed like a no-brainer to them.
We’ll have their WHEAT BEER JERKY, PORTER BEER JERKY and ZIPLINE IPA JERKY on hand for you to try.
