Join us this Friday as kick off baseball season with a line-up of springtime adult beverages. We’ll start off with beers from SANTA FE BREWING C0. who’ll have these brews for you to try:

HAPPY CAMPER IPA – Full-bodied maltiness combined with a spicy, citric, and floral hop character, make this IPA one of their most popular beers.
JAVA STOUT – using only top-quality ingredients like organic East Timor and New Guinea coffee beans locally roasted by O’hori’s Coffee House, its heavenly flavor and aroma can’t be beat or imitated.
NUT BROWN ALE –  an easy-drinking English-style brown beer that’s mild and smooth with a malty backbone and hint of bitterness up front that gives way to a light malty and nutty sweetness on the finish.

suavecito-tequilaFor the liquor we’ll be tasting all three levels of tequilas from SUAVECITO TEQUILA, all made from 100% pure Blue Agave grown in the red soil of the mountains of Jalisco, Mexico. They’re also rested in specially selected American Oak barrels to ensure that each is 100% smooth.SILVER – has an initial taste that’s lightly floral and sweet agave, which gives way to a hint of citrus in the body with a long mild mint finish and hints of sweet agave in the aftertaste. Won the 2014 Denver International Spirits Competition Gold Medal.

REPOSADO – aged for 6 to 8 months in American Oak barrels, has an initial taste of agave with a hint of cherry, which gives way to woody agave flavors in the body and a sweet wooded finish with a light vanilla/caramel aftertaste.

ANEJO – made with specially selected mountain grown premium agave, aged for 14 to 18 months in the finest American Oak barrels. Its initial taste is of burnt sugar and agave with a body that’s smooth and lightly wooded and has a mint and chocolate finish with a sweet agave aftertaste.

recuerdo-malbec-2011And for the wines,  our wonderful Pinnacle rep will be bringing these for you to sample:

CHATEAU SAINT CYRGUES ROSE – a true French rose with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and lemon. Not overly sweet, made from 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache grapes, it’s full-flavored and fresh with a simple and elegant finish. Pairs beautifully with fish and pork dishes as well.

RECUERDO MALBEC – earning a score of 90 points from Robert Parker, this wine is fresh and smooth, showcasing a purity of fruit with refined flavors of raspberry, currant and savory spice, and a finish that is supple and persistent in length.

VINUM CELLARS CHARDONNAY – layered tropical notes of mango, papaya and pineapple transition into silky rich custard and caramel toffee notes and does so in an integrated fashion. This wine is rich and layered, but relies on the natural acidity from the Santa Lucia Highland fruit.

VINUM CELLARS PINOT NOIR – supple and generous with ripe cherries and cherry pie flavors with subtle vanilla and toasted oak texturing and flavors. The wine finishes complete with balanced acidity and extracted fruit notes highlighting cherries but also incorporating earthy notes.

DISRUPTION RIESLING – this Washington wine offers a kick of spice on your palate that is balanced beautifully by mouthwatering structure and a hint of key lime sweetness with light flavors of apple and peach..
