Join us this wintry Friday as we lay out a cold-weather array of adult beverages for you to sample.  We’ll start the tastings with beers from Missouri’s own MOTHER’S BREWING CO. who are bringing these selections for you to try:

SNAPBACK –  a West Coast-style IPA that has citrusy hop aromas and  flavors of light and malty cracker, intense grapefruit and resin, with a dry mineral finish.

WINTER GRIND – an English dry stout that offers rich roasted malt and coffee, intense coffee with a subtle black fruit and a dry roasty finish with a persistent lingering coffee aftertaste.

THREE BLIND MICE – this beautiful brown beer is medium-bodied with caramel, toffee, and subtle chocolate malt flavors—all balanced by moderate hop notes and a clean, dry finish.

For the liquor, we’ll be welcoming DULCE VIDA TEQUILA which sources its organic agave from the Los Altos highlands in the Tequila region of Mexico. Because of the unique climatic characteristics and the air & soil, this area is well known for producing larger, fruitier agave, ideal for tequila. They’ll be bringing these three flavors for you to sample:

BLANCO – has a pleasant citrus aroma that is well balanced with a hint of spice and a sweet agave finish.

LIME – 70 proof, handcrafted from 100% blue agave, then infused with lime juice and uniquely blended. Straight out of the bottle it tastes like the best margarita you’ve ever had.

GRAPEFRUIT – 70 proof,  handcrafted from 100% blue agave, then infused with grapefruit and uniquely blended. Incredibly refreshing!

PINEAPPLE JALAPENO – 70 proof, handcrafted from 100% blue agave, then infused with real pineapple and jalapeno. Try a shot of “Sweet to Heat”!

And for the wines, our wonderful rep from D&E Fine Wines division will be bringing these for you to sample:

ALMA NEGRA BRUT: With a Robert Parker rating of 90 points, this sparking rose is made from both Malbec and Pinot Noir grapes. Displaying crisp, elegant acids intermixed with strawberry, cranberry and fruit cocktail-like notes, it’s medium-bodied and just delicious.

CLINE ANCIENT VINE ZINFANDEL – Ripe fruit and soft tannins make this a mouth-coating rich vintage. Flavors of dark berries, coffee and chocolate with great vanilla oak character add up to a long lingering finish.

CLINE PINOT NOIR – Soft, bright strawberry, vanilla and spearmint flavors are lovingly coaxed from grapes grown in the cool, foggy mornings and sunny afternoons of the Sonoma Coast.

CLINE CHARDONNAY – A dry, crisp, and delicious wine, with notes of pineapple, citrus, and a smooth oaky vanilla finish. An extremely well-balanced and food-friendly wine.

CLINE CASHMERE – This blend of 55% Mourvedre, 22% Syrah, 19% Grenache offers a smooth tannin structure with deep, rich flavors of berry, cherry and luscious chocolate on a lingering finish.
