Join us for our first tasting of 2018 as we usher in the new year with a bevy of adult beverages to keep you warm for the Winter. We’ll kick off the proceedings with a line-up of beers from El Dorado, Kansas’ own WALNUT RIVER BREWING CO. who’ll be bringing these brews for you to try:

HIGH BEAM IPA – A hoppy beer brewed exclusively with the Falconer’s Flight hop blend. Heavily influenced by the IPA’s of the Pacific northwest, this is the epitome of an American IPA. Floral, citrusy, aggressive, yet smooth and welcoming.

COFFEE PORTER – with a Chocolaty, smooth taste added to its roasty coffee-ness, this light Porter has a medium sweet finish. Reverie Roasters makes a proprietary blend of coffee they brew in a fashion to cut down on acidity and bitterness before it is added to the blend.

WARBEARD IRISH RED ALE – This smooth, chocolate and caramel malt-focused beer opens with toffee-like sweetness which slowly fades into a slight dryness in the finish giving it that true Irish-style red ale flavor..

For the vodkas, we’re bringing back —

COORANBONG and BOMBORA VODKAS – Cooranbong is a vodka made out of grapes from the Barossa Valley in Australia, distilled 10 times to make it a  “smooth,” bite-free vodkas with  an almost spring water-like finish in the mouth. Bombora is distilled 7 times from premium Australian grapes, and utilizes Australian water to create one of the smoothest, cleanest and freshest  gluten-free vodkas in its price-point on the market today.

And for the wines, our excellent rep from Trademark/Bronco Wines will be bringing these for you to taste:

FILUS MALBEC – earning an 89 score from Wine Spectator, ““There’s a savory edge to the ripe and well-spiced dark plum and raspberry flavors” in this medium-bodied wine that finishes with a hint of sweet tannins.

FILUS TORRONTES – a truly refreshing white wine from Argentina with delicate hints of Jasmine and white flower meandering amongst flavours of mandarin and light-grapefruity citrus and apple, followed by a mellow spice and floral aftertaste.

SIX DEGREES PINOT NOIR – starts off with raspberry and strawberry fruit combining with nuances of vanilla, toffee, and cedar, followed by mellow tannins guiding the wine toward a smooth finish.

SIX DEGREES CHARDONNAY – heady flavors of creamy oak, green apple and honey finish with a lingering softness.

VINA CUMBRERO RIOJA CRIANZA – this mostly Tempranillo blend has a polished texture that carries crisp flavors of tart cherry, fresh herb, anise and mineral, supported by light, firm tannins and lively acidity. Graceful, with balanced fruity and savory notes that give way to a spicy, floral finish.
