Join us this first Friday in November as we lay out a Fall-tastic array of adult beverages for you to sample.  We’ll start the tastings with beers from Missouri’s own MOTHER’S BREWING CO. who are bringing these selections for you to try:

SNAPBACK –  a West Coast-style IPA that has citrusy hop aromas and  flavors of light and malty cracker, intense grapefruit and resin, with a dry mineral finish.

WINTER GRIND – an English dry stout that offers rich roasted malt and coffee, intense coffee with a subtle black fruit and a dry roasty finish with a persistent lingering coffee aftertaste.

THREE BLIND MICE – this beautiful brown beer is medium-bodied with caramel, toffee, and subtle chocolate malt flavors—all balanced by moderate hop notes and a clean, dry finish.

For the liquors, our rep from Smart Dist. will be bringing these for you to try:

BAINBRIDGE BATTLE POINT WHISKEY – having won the Best Wheat Whiskey Award at the 2014 World Whiskies Awards, this USDA-certified organic whiskey is distilled from a mash of 100% organic soft white wheat. Smooth and delicious, the initial sip is comforting and luscious on the mouth, giving off notes of honey and a hint of oloroso sherry. Cinnamon and clove bring a pleasant dryness, working harmoniously to create a profile reminiscent of a heavily buttered slice of banana walnut bread. The finish is warm and dominated by tones of salted peanut brittle and chewy maple candy, which lingers on the palate barely past average length.

BAINBRIDGE HERITAGE GIN –  made from 100% organic wheat, this is a wet gin by definition, this American wheat gin features 10 organic botanicals including juniper, orris and angelica root, 2 types of citrus peel, whole licorice root, coriander, cardamom, fennel seed and Douglas fir, freshly harvested in northeastern Washington State a day prior to the final distilling of each small batch. The flavor is full and lush, without being harsh or astringent, and with a unique green tint extracted from the Douglas Fir needles

KOLOA SPICED RUM – the only rum made in Hawaii, it’s a sweet spicy bombshell of flavor carrying a pervasive sweetness of brown sugar and caramel followed by allspice, nutmeg, lots of vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. There are other flavours swimming around as well, dashes of ginger and cardamom, and a vague earthy bitterness of Angelica root .

KOLOA COFFEE RUM – . In addition to Hawaiian grown, dark-roasted Kauai coffee, this premium rum also includes Koloa White Rum and pure Hawaiian cane sugar. Sweet, bold, and distinctly satisfying, it has flavors of coffee and cocoa.

And for the wines, our wonderful rep from Pinnacle will be bringing these to tempt your tastebuds:

MARQUES DE GELIDA BRUT ROSE –  a gorgeous and juicy Spanish cava rose made from 100% Pinot Noir. It has a medium bodied, soft and fruity pallet of cherry, strawberry and spice with a great refreshing finish. Aged two years in bottle before released.

TRUE GRIT PETITE SIRAH – earning a 93 point score from Wine Enthusiast, this densely textured, full-bodied wine tightly packs in blackberry, pepper, caramel and dark chocolate flavors with rich oak tannins while keeping good balance.

TRUE GRIT CHARDONNAY –  beckons with summer fruit and spicy wood smoke aromas rounded out with companionable tastes of rich pear, lemon crème, and apple butter.

MARIETTA OLD VINE RED LOT 64 – With a score of 89 points from Robert Parker, this blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah and mixed Italian blacks shows plenty of peppery, meaty, sightly herbal red and black fruits, medium body, loads of fruit and soft tannins in an exuberant, rather spicy, earthy personality.

DISRUPTION RIESLING – this Washington wine offers a kick of spice on your palate that is balanced beautifully by mouthwatering structure and a hint of key lime sweetness with light flavors of apple and peach..
